We’ve rounded up a variety of ways to boost your fitness, from gyms to healthy food choices. We hope this guide helps you discover what works best for you, and helps you create a healthy lifestyle in Bozeman and Belgrade!

Get Outside

It’s no secret that fresh air is good for you, and can improve both mental and physical health. Fortunately, Belgrade provides plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities. From hiking to fishing, there’s always something to do, no matter the season.

For a shorter outing, walk around River Rock Pond, or take the kids to the playground at Corbett Park. Thanks to the large grassy field and picnic tables, this park is another popular spot for dog walking and meeting up with friends – and is conveniently located in the Prescott Ranch neighborhood.

Here are some of our favorite ways to explore the outdoors in the Belgrade and Bozeman area:

  • Hike the North Cottonwood trail in Belgrade, or South Cottonwood in Bozeman
  • Go fly fishing on the Gallatin River
  • Try out climbing or ice climbing in Hyalite Canyon
  • Walk to Palisade Falls in Hyalite
  • Ski or snowboard at Bridger Bowl Ski Area

Join a Gym

Belgrade has a number of gyms, and we especially love the Cove Athletic Club in the River Rock area (just a 10 minute drive from Prescott Ranch). Equipped with an indoor basketball court, many machines, a sauna, play area for kids, and even a smoothie bar, this gym has it all. Plus, you can sign up for classes, like cycling or barre, or enroll in personal training sessions!

There are several other gyms in the Belgrade and Bozeman area, including (but not limited to):

  • The Gym of Belgrade: A no frills gym that’s open 24 hours and gives a lot of bang for your buck
  • The Ridge: A popular gym in Bozeman with a pool, indoor basketball court, sauna, classes, and equipment
  • Bozeman Hot Springs: Soak in the indoor or outdoor hot springs after working out, or utilize the cold pool and sauna

Try a Niche Gym

As an outdoor hub, it’s no surprise the Bozeman area would have Check out Spire Climbing + Fitness and give climbing a go! With numerous top rope and lead routes, two spacious bouldering areas, yoga classes, and a large workout section featuring a variety of gym equipment, it’s got everything you need.

The Mountain Project is another popular (and unique) gym in Bozeman with classes and equipment aimed at building strength for outdoor activities. They offer outdoor specific courses too, like ski conditioning, hunting conditioning, running, and more. They even have a bouldering wall too!

Take a Yoga Class

Yoga is great for both strength and mobility, and fortunately, The Life Yoga Studio recently opened in Belgrade in January 2025. Choose from a variety of classes, like Life Flow (a hot yoga class), Life Restore (a restorative, relaxing class), or Life Shape (a high-intensity class that uses weights, bands, and blocks), to name a few.

There are plenty of yoga studios in Bozeman too, like Ekam Yoga, Your Yoga, and Bozeman Power Yoga.

Shop for Healthy Food

While you can shop for healthy food in regular grocery stores, such as the Town & Country and Albertsons right in Belgrade, you can opt to make the short drive into Bozeman for the Bozeman Co-op and Whole Foods.

During the warmer months, check out the Belgrade Community Farmers Market (although it went on hiatus due to construction in 2024, we’re crossing our fingers for its return in 2025!). Or, head to Bozeman for the Tuesday evening Bozeman Farmers’ Market or Saturday morning Gallatin Valley Farmers’ Market. The Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday during the colder months too!

Get a Massage

Treat your physical and mental health with a spa day. Both Intrinsic Touch and Synchronicity Massage in Belgrade provide health and wellness services, like cupping and massages.

You’ll leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and ready to take on the rest of the week!

Nutritious Meals on the Go

Don’t have time to cook for yourself, but still want to eat whole, nutrient-rich meals? No problem! Whole and Nourished is a meal delivery service that utilizes healthy ingredients to prepare creative, fresh food each week for their customers.

Nourishmint Juice Bar in Bozeman offers a similar service – but with juice. Order an entire cleanse program, or pick from individual juices. After purchasing, they’ll be delivered to your door!

Or, check out The Well Juicery in Bozeman, which whips up fresh juices and smoothies for customers. They also sell salads and sandwiches to go.
